Rules
PAINTSESSIONS.COM is a shared space for creativity. These rules apply to paint, chat, profiles, artworks, and other activity in public and private rooms and across the platform.
This page is a readable summary, not a replacement for the Terms of Service. The full Terms apply. You can read our full Terms of Service here.
Community rules — required
Keep the space welcoming and follow the Terms of Service.
- Respect other people. No harassment, threats, hate, extremist content, or impersonation.
- Do not disrupt active painters. Deliberately painting over someone’s work while they are working on it, without their agreement, is disruptive and violates the Terms of Service.
- Keep content appropriate. No pornography, explicit sexual or fetish content, sexual content involving minors, graphic gore, or content primarily intended to shock, disgust, or sexually arouse. Non-explicit artistic nudity may be allowed when it is lawful, clearly artistic, and not exploitative.
- Respect privacy and rights. Do not share private information, doxx others, or infringe their rights. Do not share, sell, transfer, or misuse accounts or authentication credentials.
- Play fairly. No illegal content, scams, spam, malicious code, automated abuse, or attempts to bypass security or moderation. Do not manipulate votes, rankings, events, comments, discovery, or reports.
- Shared walls evolve. Paint can be changed, covered, extended, or captured by other players. Ordinary overpainting is part of the platform; harassment and behaviour primarily intended to disrupt others are not. Publishing an artwork does not give you ownership of another artist’s contributions.
Graffiti etiquette — nice to follow
These are friendly suggestions, not additional moderation rules. Skill level and style are not grounds for punishment.
- Look for free space and respect finished pieces. As a courtesy, avoid putting a quick tag or throw-up over a more developed piece.
- Plan collaborations together. Agree on space and direction, and credit contributors when sharing the result.
- Welcome beginners. Offer constructive feedback and leave room for different styles and experience levels.
- Capture work you want to keep. Live walls are not permanent, so save a photo or publish an artwork before the wall changes.
Reporting and moderation
Use the in-game report controls or the public report form when something breaks the rules. Report accurately and in good faith rather than retaliating.
- Include the relevant content or location, what happened, and any useful evidence. Knowingly false or abusive reports may lead to restrictions.
- Depending on the situation, violations may lead to content removal, room or feature restrictions, or account suspension or termination under the Terms of Service.
- If you think a moderation decision was incorrect, contact [email protected] or [email protected] with your account, the decision, and why you believe it should be reviewed.
