Introducing the Factory

A completely new location is waiting beyond the Art District.

Hey everyone!

The rumor was true: the westernmost gate in the Art District is now open, and it leads to a completely new location called the Factory.

The Factory is a multi-floor industrial space built around large paintable walls. It has loading bays, catwalks, stairwells, and plenty of room for bigger pieces and collaborations.

Find the western gate

Head to the westernmost gate in the Art District and step into the marked transition area. Press E on desktop or tap the transition prompt on mobile.

Transitions work in singleplayer as well as public and private rooms. In multiplayer, moving between the Art District and Factory keeps you in the same room. Players can explore different levels at the same time, while room chat remains shared across both locations, so you can still talk and coordinate wherever everyone is painting.

More than a new location

This release also includes a lot of work that may be less visible but should make painting feel better:

  • More reliable multiplayer sessions and reconnects.
  • A fix for other players occasionally not appearing.
  • Collision, zoning, loading, and lower-end performance improvements.
  • More consistent lighting across graphics quality levels.
  • The HUD now fades while you paint and returns when your stroke is finished, keeping the wall in focus.

The Factory walls are still fresh, so bring your friends and fill them fast.
